He was born in 1948 in Izmir. He completed his primary and secondary education at Ankara TED College and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ortadogu Teknik University (ODTU) Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department and his Master of Science degree from the University of California (UCLA) Materials Engineering Department.

He started his career as the chief research engineer at UCLA, then became Head Engineer of Melting at Cinkur and assumed the role of Plant Manager and Assistant General Manager at Ergenekon Celik Sanayi.

In 1982 he founded Akdas Dokum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and he acts as the President of the Board since then. He speaks English. He is married with two children.

He assumed the responsibility as the President of the TED Ankara Koleji Foundation, as the Vice President of Ankara Chamber of Commerce, as the President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Organized Industrial Zone, as the Vice President of Turkish Statistical Institute (TSE) and board membership at TÜDÖKSAD and at World Foundry Organisation (WFO).

Currently, he is the President of the TOBB Turkish Foundry Sector Assembly (TOBB Döküm Sanayi Meclisi), the President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Organized Industrial Zone 2 & 3. In the European Organization for Quality (EOQ) 2010 General Assembly held in 2010 he is elected as the President of the EOQ and he will take the office from the current president on January 2011. He currently acts as EOQ Executive Board’s First Vice President.

Holding a Master of Science degree of Mechanical Engineering, he started his career as the project engineer at Lassa plant. He assumed the responsibility of project manager during the inception phase of Trakya Dokum A.Ş.. He worked as the Plant Manager and then Assistant General Manager at the same company. Since 1992, he is the General Manager of Trakya Dokum.

As the representative of the foundry sector, he is the Assembly member at Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). He is married with two children.

He was born in 1964 in Şebinkarahisar, Afyon. He was graduated from Yıldız Technical University Electrical Engineering Faculty.

In 1983, he started his professional life as the founding partner of Basak Demir. Between 1989 and 1994, he was the Factory Manager at Ozefe Demir Sanayi, a subsidiary company of family-owned conglomerate Efesan Grup. In 1994 he assumed the position of General Manager for 3 years at Efemet Demircelik Endustrisi, a subsidiary company of Efesan Grup and importing sheets and trading steel products. Between 1997 and 1998, he was the Coordinator at Efesan Demir Sanayi and Efesan Grup. Since 1999, he is the Chairman of the Board at Efesan Grup. (Ferro Dokum Sanayi ve Dis Ticaret A.S., a former subsidiary of Turkiye Sise ve Cam Fabrikalari was acquired by the Efesan Group on June 8, 2007.)

He is currently the Board Member of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) and 35th Sectoral Committee member.

He started his career as the Electrical Engineer at Makine Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE). After completion of his military service, he worked at Bufer Elektrik A.Ş. then at Celik Granül Sanayi A.Ş. for 23 years. In his duty at Celik Granül Sanayi, for 16 years he was the General Manager of the company.

In 2006, he joined Toscelik Granül Sanayi A.Ş. at its inception phase and he is the Company Manager since then.

He was board member at TÜDÖKSAD Board of Directors for 5 former terms.

He is married and has two children.

He was born in Izmir in 1949. After completing his high school education in Izmir, he got his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree from the Metallurgical Engineering Department in the Middle East Technical University, Ankara in 1971.

He started his professional life in 1972 as Production Engineer at Akdokum Foundry, ductile and gray iron foundry working under the license of Meehanite Metal. Between 1973 -1974, during his military service at airplane maintenance facility of Turkish Air Forces, he studied investment casting techniques. In 1975, he started to work as the Technical Manager at Dokum Sanayi Foundry, black and white malleable foundry where he carried out the modernization and mechanization of production lines.

In 1978, he founded Denizciler Dokumculuk, producing ductile and gray iron castings and he is the President of the Board and works with his son who is also Metallurgical Engineer.

He is a member of American Foundry Society (AFS) since 1980, of TÜDÖKSAD since 1997 and of Bornova Rotary Club since 1985. In the World Foundry Organisation (WFO) General Assembly held on October 2010, he is elected as the Executive Board Member.

She was born in Istanbul in 1965. She got his Bachelor of Science degree from the Anadolu University Mechanical Engineering Department in 1988.

She started her professional life in 1988 at Ayhan Metal Pres Döküm AŞ, a family-owned company, and acts as the President of the Board since then.

She was member of the Board at TÜDÖKSAD in the former term. She is currently member of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) Assembly and 39^th Sectoral Committee; member of the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association’s (Istanbul Demir ve Demirdisi Metaller Ihracatcilari Birligi) Supervisory Board and member of TOBB İstanbul Council of Women Entrepreneurs.
